Advanced Field Training Officer Course

Dates: Monday, November 10th, 2008

Cost: Free for NAFTO Members, $40 for non-members

The advanced Field Training Officer Course is designed to provide in-service and advanced training for the current and/or new Field Training Officers. This one day course will provide instruction in Leadership and Ethics for the FTO as well as methods for Additional Training and Emotional Survival. The course is being offered by the Indiana Chapter of the National Association of Field Training Officers and is free to current members of NAFTO. The cost is $40 to non-members (includes membership). There will be a reception immediately following the class at the Irish Lion Pub, Bloomington Indiana.

This course will be instructed by Steven Kellams. He is currently the Director of Indiana NAFTO and the 1st Vice President of NAFTO. He has over 12 years experience as a Field Training Officer and Field Training Manager. He teaches a number of schools across the Midwest and presents at the NAFTO National Conference.

Dates: Sept. 29th thru Oct. 2, 2008, pick any two training days.
Cost: $400
